Cell IPS is
an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), another Cell's latest security
prevention product after IDS. It is a true network security appliance
system to prevent intruder's attack and takes one step ahead of the
hacker penetration, stopping intrusion packets reaching your systems in
real-time. This IPS product family is designed to be a proactive and
reliable intrusion prevention system for any critical network
environment. Not only does it detect the intrusion, but also reacts to
it immediately by taking any necessary action to stop the intrusion
attack automatically without your intervention. For example, Cell IPS
can detect and block CodeRed, Nimda, CodeBlue attack, Worms, and other
Spyware.
Cell IPS supports network-bridge and
gateway modes with a full-feature Stateful Firewall, NAT and PAT
capabilities. It can also provide enterprise network a standard external
and internal network interfaces for intrusion filtering whilst
maintaining high performance Gigabit network throughput. With one or
more DMZ network interfaces, the IPS can be deployed at different
strategic locations and can also reduce the cost of ownership using only
one IPS equipment to provide multiple DMZ zones.
Cell IPS product family includes a
low-end model F-IPS-L with 20Mbps and 50Mbps network performance with 3
Fast Ethernet network interfaces for SOHO environment. Besides, an
entry-level F-IPS product with 100Mbps network performance and up to 6
Fast Ethernet network interfaces for deploying in any small and medium
enterprise networks. Cell G-IPS is our high performance product
specially designed to be deployed in high-speed networks, such as core
backbone networks of the large enterprises and service providers, or
even data centers. It has up to 1Gbps throughput performance with
maximum 4 Gigabit Ethernet network interfaces. A higher end model of G-IPS
with hardware system redundancy is also available to avoid hardware
failure in any critical network environment.
